Superstar Salman Khan clarifies viral ‘Loneliness’ remarks
MUMBAI: Bollywood superstar Salman Khan has clarified remarks about loneliness that recently went viral on social media, saying his comments were misunderstood and were not meant to reflect his personal life.
In a message posted on social platform X, Salman said he could never feel alone because he is surrounded by family, friends and millions of fans whose love and prayers support him.
The actor said people had taken his earlier statement out of context and turned it into “breaking news.”
“I cannot be alone when I have such a big family and friends around me,” Salman wrote, adding that the affection of his fans has always been his greatest strength.
He also made light of the controversy, joking that even his mother had started asking what had happened after the online reaction to his post.
The clarification came after Salman shared a cryptic message discussing the difference between “being alone” and “loneliness,” prompting widespread speculation among fans and social media users.
