Atif Aslam opens up about Indian fans and memories

ISLAMABAD: Pakistani singer Atif Aslam says he misses his fans in India and fondly remembers his experiences working in Bollywood.

In a recent interview, the internationally acclaimed singer reflected on several memories from his career and spoke about his positive experiences in the Indian film industry.

Atif said he is currently working on a new project titled “Borderless Music,” which brings together young and senior artists, musicians, lyricists and other creative professionals.

He said the project would feature a range of new music and collaborations and that audiences could expect more work to be released soon.

Addressing his Indian fans, Atif said he did not want them to feel sad or disappointed because of the restrictions on Pakistani artists working in India.

“I want to tell all my Indian fans not to feel sad or bad because of the ban. Just know that I have always missed you,” he said.

The singer said that while he did not particularly miss working in India, he certainly missed his fans there. He added that playback singing had taught him a great deal and that the restrictions may have encouraged him to focus more on creating his own music.

Atif also expressed appreciation for his Indian fans for continuing to support him despite the restrictions.
