Bilawal calls Makkah pact guarantee for secure future of three nations

ISLAMABAD: Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari has described the Makkah Joint Defence Agreement as a major milestone in Pakistan’s history, saying the pact would strengthen defence capabilities and promote regional stability.

In a statement shared on social media platform X, Bilawal said the Makkah Joint Defence Agreement was a historic development that would further enhance cooperation among the participating countries.

He said the agreement would serve as a guarantee for the secure future of Saudi Arabia, Pakistan and Türkiye.

Bilawal Bhutto praised Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and Field Marshal for their role in making the defence agreement possible, calling the pact a historic document for regional and global peace.

He added that stronger defence cooperation among the three countries would contribute to stability and security in the region.
