Gauri Khan transforms 100-year-old ancestral home into luxury resort
Mumbai: Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan’s wife and interior designer Gauri Khan has transformed her 100-year-old ancestral home into a luxury resort, where a one-night stay can cost up to ₹120,000.
Despite being married to a superstar, Gauri Khan has maintained her own identity and professional career, designing homes for several high-profile clients.
Recently, she undertook a personal project to renovate her 1933 ancestral property in Dalhousie into a six-bedroom villa.
Media reports state that the century-old family home is now a luxury retreat offering scenic hill views to visitors.
The property holds personal significance for Gauri Khan, as she spent many childhood summer vacations there with her family and cousins.
Gauri’s cousin, Rustam Tiwari, collaborated with her on the project. The house originally belonged to her maternal uncle, Tejinder Tiwari.
