Goher Rasheed says Saba Qamar convinced him to join Case Number 9

KARACHI: Actor Goher Rasheed has disclosed that he initially turned down the popular drama Case Number 9 before ultimately accepting a role.

Rasheed shared the revelation during his appearance in podcast, where he discussed his experience with the acclaimed drama.

According to Rasheed, he first rejected the project after hearing the storyline. However, lead actress Saba Qamar personally called him and persuaded him to reconsider and take on the role.

“She asked me to speak with the director, Wajahat Hussain, and after hearing his perspective, I realized that the story was very different from what I had initially been told,” Rasheed explained.

The drama, which deals with sensitive social issues, has received widespread attention, and Rasheed’s comments shed light on his decision-making process behind joining the project.
