The Islamabad premiere drew H.E. Mr. Shi Yuanqiang, Chinese Minister Counsellor, emphasizing the “Ironclad Friendship”: “Ne Zha 2 builds a cultural bridge, showcasing modern Chinese cinema to Pakistanis.”

Senator Saleem Mandviwalla added: “This exchange reflects our unbreakable bond, with leaders like President Zardari and PM Sharif championing it—pairing Ne Zha 2 here with The Legend of Maula Jatt in China.”

Mr. Sardar Yasir Illyas, PM’s Tourism Advisor, hailed it as a “game-changer for regional cinema,” spotlighting the two-way flow.

Mirroring the excitement, Pakistan’s 2022 hit The Legend of Maula Jatt debuts in China this November/December via China Film Group— the first Pakistani film under quota on revenue share, unlocking Asia’s biggest market.
