Colombo: The much-anticipated Group A clash between Pakistan and India in the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2026, scheduled for Sunday, February 15, in Colombo, faces uncertainty due to expected rainfall.

According to various meteorological reports, there is a 50% chance of storms accompanied by rain and lightning on match day. Approximately 2.1 mm of rainfall is forecast for around 6:00 pm.

If the match is washed out due to rain, both Pakistan and India would be awarded one point each. Fans are eagerly hoping that the high-voltage encounter proceeds without weather interruptions.

Currently, Pakistan leads Group A with four points, having won both of their matches in the tournament so far.

Colombo: Pakistan’s Hasnain Raza delivered a stellar performance at the World Powerlifting Championship, claiming the gold medal in the Masters 2 category.

The championship was held from 27 to 30 November in Colombo, Sri Lanka. Competing in the 94kg weight category, Hasnain Raza outperformed all rivals with an impressive display of strength.

He lifted a total of 570kg, including a 250kg deadlift, securing the top podium spot and bringing home the gold medal for Pakistan.
