Krishna Shroff opens up about live-in relationship with Afghan MMA fighter

Mumbai: Indian actress Krishna Shroff, daughter of Bollywood actor Jackie Shroff, has revealed that she is in a live-in relationship with an Afghan mixed martial arts (MMA) fighter.

The 33-year-old is currently participating in the reality show The 50, where she spoke candidly about her personal life during a recent episode.

Krishna said that while the show’s challenges are intense, her personal life has been equally exciting. She shared that her deep interest in fitness led her to a relationship with an MMA fighter.

Although Krishna did not name her partner on the show, media sources have identified him as Afghan fighter Abdulazim Badakhshi.

Krishna explained that they first met at an event in Mumbai, after which they began communicating over Instagram. For roughly eight months, they stayed connected through video calls.

The couple later met in Goa, spending two weeks together, which strengthened their bond. They also spent some time in Delhi before deciding to live together in Mumbai.

Krishna emphasized that love, for her, means caring for each other’s happiness and comfort. She noted that language was initially a challenge, as her partner spoke Persian and she spoke English, and neither had strong Hindi skills. However, mutual understanding and communication bridged the gap.
