ISLAMABAD: Cambridge University Press & Assessment’s International Education Group has announced the results of the June 2026 Cambridge O Level and IGCSE examination session.
More than 315,000 students worldwide received their results, while in Pakistan, more than 100,000 students from over 850 schools appeared for Cambridge International AS & A Level, O Level and IGCSE examinations this year.
According to Cambridge, mathematics was the most popular IGCSE subject among students in Pakistan, followed by physics, first-language English, chemistry and biology.
At O Level, English Language remained the most popular subject, followed by mathematics, Pakistan Studies, Islamiyat and Urdu as a second language.
Cambridge congratulates Pakistani students
Uzma Yousuf, Country Director for Pakistan at Cambridge International Education, congratulated students on the release of the results and praised their hard work and resilience.
She said the achievements of O Level and IGCSE students across Pakistan reflected not only their academic efforts but also their ability to adapt and remain determined amid challenging and changing social and economic circumstances.
Yousuf said young people in Pakistan were developing the skills, confidence and global outlook needed to navigate the opportunities and challenges associated with the country’s ongoing transformation and development.
She also acknowledged the contribution of teachers, school leaders and parents, saying their continued support played a vital role in students’ success.
Yousuf expressed her best wishes to the successful students as they move to the next stage of their education and encouraged them to contribute to building a better future for themselves and their communities.
