KARACHI: Pakistani actor Ahad Raza Mir says he does not believe in the idea of falling in love more than once, sharing his views during a recent interview with actor Maya Ali.
Responding to a question about giving people a second chance and whether a person can experience love more than once, Mir said he does not subscribe to the notion of repeated romantic love.
“You can fall in love multiple times, but I don’t believe in that,” Mir said. “If love happens again and again, then what kind of love is it?”
Maya Ali suggested that a person’s first relationship could have been a mistake, making room for genuine love later in life. Mir replied that while such a possibility exists, people should not allow fear or past experiences to prevent them from moving forward.
The actor emphasized the importance of giving people a second chance, believing in oneself, and continuing to move forward in life.
Mir married fellow actor Sajal Aly in Abu Dhabi in March 2020. Reports of the couple’s separation began circulating in 2021 and 2022, but neither Mir nor Aly has publicly confirmed or denied the speculation about their relationship.
