KARACHI: Veteran Pakistani actress Javeria Abbasi has described her wedding ceremony as a “so-she wedding,” a light-hearted reference to its intimate and elegant nature.
The actress had announced her second marriage last September, sharing pictures from her Nikah ceremony with businessman Adeel Ahmed. Reports indicated that the couple’s Nikah took place on March 15 this year in a small, private ceremony held at home.
According to Javeria, she first met her husband Adeel at a dinner hosted by a mutual friend, where their friendship began. The proposal, she revealed, came from Adeel himself.

Speaking on a television show recently, Javeria shared that her Nikah was solemnised under the customs of both sects, making it a dual-Nikah ceremony.
