LAHORE: Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz has undergone a major surgical procedure at Sharif Medical City Hospital, officials confirmed on Wednesday.
Senior Punjab Minister Marriyum Aurangzeb said in a statement shared on social media that Maryam Nawaz underwent major surgery at the Lahore-based hospital.
However, the minister did not specify the nature of the surgical procedure in her statement.
Further details regarding the chief minister’s condition were not immediately disclosed.
