INDIA: A woman who underwent two heart transplants has shared an emotional account of support she received from Bollywood superstar Salman Khan during her medical struggles.
Salman Khan has been actively involved in philanthropic work through his Being Human Foundation since 2007, providing assistance for healthcare and education to those in need.
The actor extended similar help to Reena Raju, a resident of Karnataka, who has undergone two heart transplant surgeries. In a recent interview, she recalled her difficult journey and expressed deep admiration for the actor, saying she “loves him wholeheartedly.”
Reena revealed that she had Salman Khan’s contact number and reached out to him before her first transplant. Despite being in Australia for a shoot, the actor responded immediately and spoke with her for nearly two hours on the night of her surgery.
She further shared that Salman Khan supported her family throughout the ordeal and encouraged her during the challenging phase.
Reena also recalled meeting the actor at his residence during her second transplant, describing it as a memorable and comforting experience.
