Actress Daisy Shah Confirms Improvement

Actress Daisy Shah told Indian media that Salim Khan’s health is steadily improving and his overall condition is satisfactory. She added that although she could not visit him in person, she has been in regular contact with Salman Khan and his family to stay updated.

According to Shah, Salim Khan is now out of danger, and the medical procedure has been successfully completed, with recovery ongoing.

Hospital Confirms Stabilization

Hospital sources confirmed that Salim Khan was placed under immediate medical supervision due to minor brain bleeding. After a necessary procedure, his condition was stabilized.

Mumbai: Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan has credited veteran screenwriter Salim Khan for playing a pivotal role in his journey to stardom, saying, “If I am Shah Rukh Khan today, it is because of Salim Khan.”

The remarks resurfaced in a viral clip from an old television interview amid reports that Salim Khan was hospitalized following a minor brain hemorrhage. According to Indian media, he was admitted to Lilavati Hospital in critical condition and later shifted to the ICU.

Doctors, including Dr. Jalil D. Parkar, reportedly said the hemorrhage was minor and that a small procedure was successfully performed. While Salim Khan remains on a ventilator, his condition is said to be improving, though recovery may take time due to his age.

According to Indian media reports, a sharp spike in blood pressure affected a blood vessel in the right side of his brain. He is currently on ventilator support while a team of specialists closely monitors his condition and evaluates the possibility of an urgent surgical procedure.

Mumbai: Veteran Bollywood screenwriter and father of actor Salman Khan, Salim Khan, has been placed on a ventilator following a sudden health deterioration.

According to Indian media reports, Salim Khan suffered a rupture in the blood vessels on the right side of his brain due to a spike in blood pressure.

He was admitted to Lilavati Hospital around 8:30 am yesterday and later moved to the ICU as his condition worsened. Surgery is expected to be performed today, depending on his health status.

Salim Khan, who recently celebrated his 90th birthday on 24 November 2025, is renowned for co-writing iconic films such as Sholay, Haathi Mere Saathi, Zanjeer, and Mr. India with his former writing partner Javed Akhtar.
