KARACHI: Rising Pakistani actor Ali Raza has landed in controversy after social media influencer Mahnoor Mirza made startling claims about their alleged past relationship, sparking widespread debate online.

Speaking on a private podcast, Mahnoor Mirza claimed that she and Ali Raza were in a close relationship for nearly five months.

According to her, the connection began on social media and gradually evolved into personal meetings and appearances at events together. She said they remained in regular contact and were often seen attending gatherings side by side.

The influencer stated that during that time, Ali Raza was working on a drama project and displayed a positive and pleasant attitude, which left a strong impression on her. However, she alleged that his behavior changed significantly after he gained popularity.

Mahnoor claimed that the actor suddenly cut off contact and stopped responding to messages, leaving her surprised. She added that he was unmarried at the time and initially very considerate, but things shifted over time.

LAHORE: Pakistani social media influencer Areeka Haq has cautioned young girls aspiring to become influencers about the potential dangers of pursuing fame online.

In a recent interview, Areeka Haq advised girls to exercise caution when engaging on social media, protect their privacy, and avoid taking shortcuts to fame that could lead to long-term problems.

“Some girls go too far in the race for attention, deliberately sharing private or controversial videos to gain recognition,” Areeka Haq said.

She added that in the past, couple or duo videos were a popular trend that helped some individuals rise to fame. However, when that trend faded, some people sought controversial methods to regain attention. While this behavior is not universal, such incidents have occurred frequently.

Areeka Haq emphasized that she has always maintained her personal boundaries and never exploited her private life for popularity.

She stressed that maintaining integrity and dignity is essential for sustainable success on social media, as short-term fame can often lead to later complications.

Speaking on the negative aspects of online platforms, Areeka Haq noted that criticism, trolling, and inappropriate comments can take a serious toll on mental health.

 She admitted to having experienced mental stress and depression herself but said she overcame it with the support of her family and close friends.

LAHORE: Pakistani YouTuber Azlan Shah has sparked social media buzz after sharing an Instagram story hinting at a second marriage.

In his Instagram story, Azlan wrote: “There is an important thing I want to share with you all. I feel that as a public figure, it is my responsibility to speak about it myself before you hear it from someone else.”

He further stated: “It’s quite unusual, but I am getting married again. My wife has given her consent, so please keep my family away from all this; it is my personal matter.”

The YouTuber also asked his fans for prayers and good wishes at the end of his message.

It remains unclear whether Azlan Shah shared the story seriously, as a joke, or if his account was compromised.

Azlan Shah is the son of the late actor Shabbir Rana. He married social media influencer Dr. Warisha Javed Khan in 2022, and the couple has a two-year-old daughter.
