Akshaye Khanna reportedly reacted strongly after junior actor denied food

Amit Behl has revealed an incident involving Akshaye Khanna, claiming that the actor once strongly confronted a film producer after a junior artist was allegedly stopped from eating with the main cast.

Speaking in an interview, Amit Behl said that a character actor, who was staying separately at a hotel, had joined Akshaye Khanna for lunch when the incident occurred.

According to Behl, as soon as the junior artist began eating, a member of the producer’s family objected, stating that he was not part of the main cast and should not be sharing the meal. He added that the production team also intervened, which left the actor embarrassed and forced him to quietly step away.

Behl further stated that Akshaye Khanna noticed the situation from a distance and immediately intervened. He reportedly reprimanded the producer and crew, stressing that respect and dignity are more important than hierarchy on a film set.

“He said that a film is not made by plates or meals, but by people’s respect and goodwill,” Behl recounted.

The senior actor added that the incident highlighted Akshaye Khanna’s sensitivity and concern for fellow artists on set.
