Bollywood actress and active politician Kangana Ranaut has strongly rejected viral claims suggesting an alleged marriage link with Indian National Congress leader Rahul Gandhi, terming the reports fabricated and misleading propaganda.

In recent days, social media platforms in India have seen a surge of speculative and satirical posts targeting political figures.

Amid this trend, a meme page circulated a fake statement attributed to Kangana Ranaut, claiming she would be willing to marry Rahul Gandhi if he joined the Bharatiya Janata Party.

The fabricated post quickly went viral across multiple platforms and was even picked up by some media outlets, presenting it as a genuine remark.

Reacting promptly, Kangana Ranaut shared a screenshot of the post on her Instagram story and expressed strong anger over the misinformation. She categorically dismissed the claim as completely false and criticised the growing trend of spreading unverified content.

The actress further stated that it is unfortunate that women are often disrespected even in political discourse and condemned those responsible for circulating such baseless rumours, saying they should be ashamed for spreading fake news.
