Terror network behind Peshawar FC HQ attack identified
PESHAWAR: The law enforcement agencies (LEAs)have identified the terrorist network responsible for the attack on the Frontier Corps (FC) Headquarters in Peshawar.
Investigators confirmed that the suicide attackers were affiliated with a banned terrorist organization and had stayed in Peshawar for several days prior to the attack.
During their stay, the attackers familiarized themselves with city routes and received assistance in procuring suicide jackets and accommodations.
So far, investigators have questioned over 150 individuals in connection with the case.
The attack, which took place last month, resulted in the death of three FC personnel and injuries to five others, while all three attackers, including the suicide bomber, were neutralized.
