LAHORE: Mawra Hocine recently spoke candidly about her acting and the emotional depth behind her iconic tearful scenes, emphasizing that genuine emotions and sincerity are what truly connect with audiences.

Mawra appeared on a private TV program alongside her sister Urwa Hocine, where they shared behind-the-scenes stories about acting, family bonds, and the emotional layers of dramatic scenes.

During the show, the host highlighted Mawra’s talent, beauty, kindness, and especially her distinctive way of crying on screen.

Mawra smiled and thanked the host for the praise. Urwa added that it’s not just about looking beautiful Mawra genuinely feels the emotions intensely, which allows viewers to connect with her.

She recalled that even as a child, Mawra’s tears would immediately win over her family because of her natural charm.

When asked if Mawra received formal training in crying beautifully on camera, Urwa emphasized that true emotions naturally translate on screen, and beauty alone isn’t the key. Urwa also revealed that she consults Mawra first whenever she needs guidance for a scene, and then seeks advice from her husband, Fahad Saeed.

Mawra herself explained her approach, saying she follows the director’s instructions with honesty and performs from the heart. Each performance has a special “magic,” and she prays before every scene.
