After Salman Khan, his brother-in-law also receives threat

Salman Khan

Bollywood actor Ayush Sharma, brother-in-law of superstar Salman Khan, has reportedly received a threatening email, sparking fresh concerns within the film industry.

According to Indian media reports, the email was sent to Sharma — husband of Salman Khan’s sister Arpita Khan — and claimed to be from an individual associated with the Lawrence Bishnoi gang.

The threat has heightened anxiety among Bollywood celebrities, especially after actor Ranveer Singh allegedly received a threatening WhatsApp voice message a day earlier, in which a large sum of money was demanded.

Mumbai Crime Branch officials confirmed that Ayush Sharma received the threatening email via Proton Mail. Police have launched an investigation to trace the sender and determine the motive behind the threat. Authorities are also examining whether the email originated from within India or abroad.

Earlier, Ranveer Singh — currently starring in Dhurandhar — reportedly received a voice message demanding millions of rupees, prompting heightened security measures outside his residence.

Law enforcement agencies continue to investigate both incidents amid growing security concerns within the Bollywood fraternity.

The Jamaat-e-Islami alliance stands in second place with 38 seats as ballot counting continues nationwide. Election authorities confirmed that vote tabulation is still underway, with final results to be announced once counting in all constituencies is completed.

In the video, Nasir Adeeb defended his record, stating that his podcast has been running for the past two years and challenging the actor: “Which statement of mine has been wrong? Who have I falsely accused? Whose character have I tried to tarnish?”

Adeeb also emphasized the importance of writers in the film industry, saying: “I did a program about you! You should know that without a writer, where is your heroism? If you are nothing without a writer, then how can you claim I am sitting somewhere criticizing?”

He further explained that his opposition to casting Shan Shahid in the film was due to repeated delays and script objections: actors arriving late, causing hours-long waits, making unauthorized changes to the script, and disregarding the director’s guidance.

Adeeb clarified that he had told the director that if guarantees were given that the actor would cooperate, he had no objection, acknowledging Shan Shahid as a prominent artist.

Criticizing Shan Shahid’s professional conduct, Adeeb stated: “The issue is that you have harmed the Pakistani film industry. Have you ever wondered why the industry is in decline? Your delays and behavior on set have contributed to this downfall, and this is why roles for you became limited.”

The exchange has reignited debates on social media regarding accountability and professionalism in the Pakistani film industry.

According to the report, Imran Khan requested examinations by his personal doctors, Dr. Faisal Sultan and Dr. Asim Yousuf, and stated he could also be examined by other specialist doctors. Due to the restrictions of solitary confinement and lack of TV access, he demanded access to books.

Supreme Court Orders

The Supreme Court has directed that Imran Khan be given access to eye specialists and telephonic contact with his sons.

Security and Daily Routine

The report notes that Khan expressed no concerns regarding his security, mentioning that roughly 10 CCTV cameras monitor the compound. One camera partially covers the washroom, but no cameras are installed inside his cell.

Imran Khan’s daily routine reportedly includes:

Breakfast at 9:45 am, consisting of coffee, porridge, and dates.

Recitation of the Quran for approximately one hour starting at 11:30 am.

Physical exercise using limited equipment.

Access to a walking shed inside the secure compound after a 1:15 pm bath.

Lunch between 3:30 and 4:00 pm, planned weekly and funded by his family, including a rotation of chicken, meat, lentils, or snacks.

From roughly 5:30 pm until 10:00 am the following day, Khan remains confined to his cell, located about a five-minute walk from the main block of Adiala Jail.

Cell Amenities

His cell contains:

Three high-voltage bulbs, a ceiling fan, and a blower heater.

Two tables, a wall clock, a single bed with mattress, four pillows, two blankets, a chair, a small rack, and a prayer area with tasbih.

32-inch TV installed on the wall, but nonfunctional.

About 100 books on a table, along with two dumbbells, two apples, tissue paper, mouthwash, air freshener, shaving gel, and shaving kit.

A 4.5×4.5 ft toilet, separated by a 4-ft wall, with external access to hot and cold water, a wash basin, and a mirror.

Health Concerns

This report provides the first detailed account of Khan’s health, daily regimen, and prison living conditions following his incarceration at Adiala Jail.

Nationwide polling concludes in Bangladesh, vote count begins

Nationwide polling

Dhaka: Vote counting is underway across Bangladesh following the conclusion of polling for the country’s 13th National Parliamentary Elections, marking a significant political milestone.

The elections are being held 18 months after a student-led movement that brought an end to Sheikh Hasina’s two-decade rule, reshaping the nation’s political landscape.

A fierce contest is expected between alliances led by the Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP) and Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami, both vying to secure the largest share of seats in the Jatiya Sangsad.

In previous elections, unofficial results typically began emerging by the following morning. However, officials from the Bangladesh Election Commission have indicated that the counting process may take longer this time.

In addition to the standard white parliamentary ballot papers, pink ballots are also being counted for a referendum on the July National Charter. Moreover, a higher number of political parties and candidates is contributing to the extended counting process.

The Election Commission has appealed for special prayers for peace, prosperity, and continued development to be offered in mosques across the country after Friday prayers.

Similar requests have been made to places of worship of other faiths to organize prayer gatherings at appropriate times.

In its statement, the Commission expressed gratitude to political parties, candidates, law enforcement agencies, election officials, observers, journalists, and voters for their cooperation in maintaining a free, fair, and impartial electoral environment.

According to the Election Commission, voting was held in 299 of the 300 parliamentary constituencies at 42,761 polling stations across all 64 districts of the country. Fifty seats are reserved for women and allocated on the basis of proportional representation.

As per the final voter list issued in November 2025, Bangladesh has a total of 127,711,793 registered voters, including 64,825,361 male voters and 62,885,200 female voters.

For the first time, postal voting has been introduced, benefiting approximately 15 million overseas workers.

Bangladesh’s Parliament is unicameral, known as the Jatiya Sangsad, with a total of 350 members — 300 elected through direct voting and 50 seats reserved for women.

Kim Jong Un reportedly designates successor in unexpected move

Kim Jong Un

Pyongyang: North Korean leader Kim Jong Un is widely regarded as one of the world’s most powerful and enigmatic figures, with state propaganda often portraying him as possessing near-supernatural qualities.

According to international media reports, although Kim does not formally hold a parliamentary or conventional governmental title, he remains the most powerful authority in the country.

In recent years, Kim Jong Un has periodically disappeared from public view, fueling speculation about his health and triggering rumors that he may be suffering from a serious illness. These rumors intensified when his 38-year-old sister, Kim Yo Jong, began appearing prominently at political and state functions.

During that period, Kim Yo Jong was entrusted with several key responsibilities and emerged as one of the most influential figures in the regime in her brother’s absence. However, Kim Jong Un never signaled that he intended to designate her as his successor.

While discussions about Kim Yo Jong’s possible succession were still circulating, Kim Jong Un surprised observers by introducing his 12-year-old daughter, Kim Ju Ae, into the public spotlight for the first time.

Since then, Kim Ju Ae has accompanied her father to major political events and even sensitive military occasions, while Kim Yo Jong’s public prominence has comparatively diminished.

Although Kim Jong Un has not officially declared his daughter as his successor, analysts note that her increasing visibility—particularly at high-profile military events—suggests she may be undergoing grooming for future leadership.

Some observers had also speculated that Kim’s wife, 37-year-old Ri Sol Ju, who has remained active at official events since 2012, could potentially play a significant political role.

However, among all family members, Kim Ju Ae appears most frequently alongside the leader, including at highly symbolic and strategic engagements.

South Korea’s National Intelligence Service (NIS) has reportedly briefed lawmakers that Kim Jong Un has decided to designate his teenage daughter as his successor. The agency cited recent patterns of her public appearances as supporting evidence.

South Korean lawmaker Lee Seong-kweun told reporters that earlier speculation about Kim Ju Ae’s succession has now progressed toward what appears to be a formal stage of nomination.

Who Is Kim Ju Ae?

Kim Ju Ae is the only publicly acknowledged child of Kim Jong Un and Ri Sol Ju. However, South Korean intelligence agencies believe the North Korean leader may have an older son, though this has never been officially confirmed or mentioned in state media.

Her name first surfaced in 2013 when former American basketball star Dennis Rodman told a British newspaper that he had held “baby Ju Ae” during a visit to North Korea.

Kim Ju Ae made her first appearance on state television in 2022, accompanying her father during an inspection of an intercontinental ballistic missile (ICBM) launch. Since then, she has been seen at multiple military and state events, including celebrations marking the anniversary of the Korean People’s Army and visits to the Kumsusan Palace of the Sun, the mausoleum of North Korea’s founding leaders.

In state-released images, she is often shown standing shoulder to shoulder with her father—an image carrying powerful symbolic weight in North Korea’s tightly controlled and hierarchical political system.
