KARACHI: Pakistani actor, host and producer Fahad Mustafa has spoken candidly about the emotional cost of fame, saying that success has brought him immense love but taken away much of his personal freedom and privacy.

In a recent television program, Fahad Mustafa said he can no longer live a normal life like ordinary people, as public outings have become difficult due to constant crowds of fans wherever he goes.

He added that he is now rarely invited to weddings, dinner parties or family gatherings because his presence tends to draw excessive attention and disrupt the environment of such events.

The actor also shared a personal reflection about his children, saying they no longer ask him to go out for dinners or outings as frequently because public places often become crowded, making it hard for the family to spend peaceful time together.

Fahad Mustafa said fame may appear glamorous from the outside, but it comes with sacrifices that only those living the life truly understand. He added that while success brings many rewards, it also takes away the comfort of private living.

KARACHI: Fahad Mustafa has shared a memorable behind-the-scenes incident from the filming of the hit song Billi, revealing that Mehwish Hayat’s performance was so captivating that the owner of the shooting location reportedly fell from a height while watching.

Speaking about the iconic item song from the film “Na Maloom Afraad”, Fahad Mustafa said the real star of the sequence was Mehwish Hayat, whose performance was flawless and electrifying.

He recounted that during filming, the owner of the location became so engrossed in watching Mehwish Hayat perform that he lost his balance and fell from an elevated spot on the set.

Mehwish Hayat also reflected on her experience working on “Billi,” saying the shoot was physically demanding and left her exhausted and slightly injured.

However, she said joining the project proved to be one of the best decisions of her career. At the time, she was focused on television dramas and had already established a strong image in films when director Nabeel Qureshi approached her for the song.

The actress noted that “Billi” received tremendous appreciation from audiences and remains one of the most memorable highlights of her career.

KARACHI: The trailer of the much-anticipated film ‘Aag Lage Basti Mein’, starring Fahad Mustafa and Mahira Khan, has gone viral immediately after its release, generating excitement among fans.

The movie also features renowned actors Javed Sheikh and Tabish Hashmi in key roles. The film is written and directed by Bilal Atif Khan.

A major production by Salman Iqbal Films and Big Bang Films, ‘Aag Lage Basti Mein’ is scheduled to hit cinemas nationwide this Eid-ul-Fitr.
